Wasn't planning on revealing this so soon, but I should be armed with my first feature sometime in 2026. All the love in the world to you and yours for this rallying cry, Courtney!
I am definitely interested in participation if I can. Other filmmakers can let me know how I could participate, as I currently have films in development in Europe and am also trying to make contacts in Korea and branch to connect filmmakers from other countries :)
I’ve got one in post now and one script that’s being prepped, so count me IN! I am also interested in conversations concerning structure, principles, etc. LFG!
I saw my documentary as NonDe even before I knew what NonDe was. I wanted to keep the rights, from the little I knew, I knew that trying a traditional route, especially for a documentary that wasn't about murder, a celebrity and so on by a first time filmmaker was a waste of time. That's a very long winded way to say I'M ALL IN!
Okay, I’m in!! Just shot the beginnings of a very personal, very NonDē doc that I will do my best to get out into the world in 2026. I’ll be writing about my process starting next month.
Courtney, this article is *everything* Thank you so much for publishing it and getting so many of us in a consolidated headspace. This artform is so expansive, it's so, so much fun to see the infrastructure slowly build for us. I am trying my damndest to have a complete project in '26 for this run and you know I'll keep the community informed of every little step. But perhaps more importantly: I absolutely dedicate the use of filmjourn Microcinema to this effort. As long as I personally have access to a space, I'm honored to build a home and clubhouse for us NonDē friends. It's my absolute pleasure. Onward and upward! Here's to dancing the dance! Much, much love.
Thank you, it's absolutely a group project! As the senator from Vermont often says, "not me, us" -- same thing with NonDē. Your space sounds incredible, what a brilliant way to support this community. Thank you jake!
This is FANTASTIC what you are doing here Courtney. You can feel the wave rise. Hell, it's an entire continent. You are making the earth move!
You started it Ted! :)
